The following photos are of concrete water tanks that were leaking, then a liner was installed to the inside, and within a very short time ( 12 months average ) the water tank was able to fill back to its maximum capacity, then because the water tank was not structurally sound the water tank burst open.
Unfortunately, the person who was given the task of installing these liners did not have the expertise, full knowledge, and understanding of what is required when supplying and installing a water tank liner.
All the liners of those tanks in the photos were of inferior quality, mostly cheap PVC, the fasteners used to hold the liner in place had rusted, failed or let go, all the water tanks had the internal supporting structural center pole cut or removed, why you may ask? because either the contractor did not have the skills on how to weld the liner onsite or they took shortcuts.
90% of concrete water tanks have a large center pole, this has been designed ( by an engineer ) to help support the roof of the water tank which then supports the walls of the water tank.
All of the customers of the tanks in the photos tried to get the contractors to return, repair, and rectify the damage done, but none of those contractors offered any assistance/help.
